A Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse with more than 25 years of experience across acute care and outpatient wound care, Cheryl brings a wealth of bedside expertise and a deep commitment to evidence-based skin health.

Cheryl is recognized for her clinical expertise in wound, ostomy, and continence care, and for her dedication to improving skin health through evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Across acute and outpatient settings, she has focused on the assessment and management strategies that protect vulnerable skin before it breaks down.
A passion for skin health and education
What sets Cheryl apart is her focus on the human side of skin health: its impact on dignity, quality of life, and overall well-being. A dedicated educator, she enjoys teaching both healthcare professionals and patients, and she advocates for practical, patient-centered interventions that improve outcomes for people with at-risk skin.
Recognition and leadership
Cheryl's leadership and clinical excellence have earned national and regional recognition, including the Northeast Region WOC Nurse of Distinction Award and the 2024 Pennsylvania Nightingale Award for Clinical Nursing Practice.
