The Coalition for At-Risk Skin (CARS) is delighted to welcome Dr. Maryann P. Hartzell to its Board of Directors. A board-certified podiatric surgeon and Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) with extensive experience in lower extremity wound management, diabetic limb preservation, and podiatric surgery, Dr. Hartzell brings frontline surgical and wound-care expertise to the coalition.

A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), Dr. Hartzell has dedicated her career to advancing evidence-based care for patients with complex lower extremity wounds, from diabetic limb preservation to podiatric surgery.
