Board Spotlight: Catherine T. Milne

Advancing Skin Health, One Patient at a Time

The Coalition for At-Risk Skin (CARS) is proud to spotlight one of our founding leaders and a true force in skin health: Catherine T. Milne, MSN, APRN, ANP/ACNS-BC, CWOCN-AP, WOCNF. As a nationally recognized wound, ostomy, and continence nurse and active clinician, Catherine brings passion, precision, and decades of real-world insight to the CARS mission.

Catherine is Co-Owner of Connecticut Clinical Nursing Associates, where she practices across the acute, long-term, home health, and outpatient settings. Her commitment to improving wound and skin outcomes is at the heart of her work, not only in direct patient care but also in advancing clinical research and education.

Her ability to translate complex research into practical, frontline strategies makes her a trusted voice among peers and policymakers alike.

Now serving as President of the CARS Executive Board, Catherine is steering the organization into its next phase: expanding educational resources, promoting interdisciplinary care models, and strengthening CARS’ voice in national skin health advocacy.

At CARS, we believe that every individual deserves safe, proactive, and evidence-based skin care. Catherine T. Milne embodies that belief in every aspect of her work.
